Members: If Any of the Following Applies to You, Please Consider Leaving the Commune Right Away
This is KangAi Commune's eleventh year, and we have the goal of a Century Commune: we will not shut down at will (see the announcement here).
But if any of the following applies to you, I suggest you consider leaving the Commune as soon as possible (the list is in no particular order):
1. You think KangAi Commune is a scam.
2. You think KangAi Commune will be shut down by the state at any moment.
3. You think KangAi Commune's contributions are beyond what you can bear.
4. You do not meet the health and age requirements for joining your mutual aid commune.
5. You think that if you never receive assistance from KangAi Commune in the future, everything you paid was wasted.
6. You are unwilling to spend time understanding the Commune's model and mutual aid rules.
7. You think that once you join the Commune you need no other protection.
8. You think the Commune is obliged to refund the contributions you paid in the past.
9. You think applying for aid requires no rigorous investigation, no public disclosure and no accepting of visits.
10. You think fulfilling your obligations at the Commune is optional and a matter of whim.
11. You think the Commune can make an exception when you come close to, but do not reach, the agreed mutual aid standard.
12. You think KangAi Commune and commercial insurance are the same thing.
There are two ways to leave the Commune:
One is to stop taking part in the Commune's cost-sharing from then on.
The other is to withdraw from each mutual aid commune on your own initiative and cancel your records with the Commune (reply "leave" in our official account for guidance).
