How Does Anti-Cancer Commune Ensure Every Aid Recipient Is Real?
Anti-Cancer Commune is a real and transparent community. We ensure every aid recipient is a real member rather than someone fabricated by the Commune for fraudulent purposes in the following ways:
1. Self-Review by the Commune
2. Third-Party Investigation System
We adhere to third-party investigation. After each aid recipient applies, a third-party investigation firm or assessment company issues a report. For cases that fall ill just after the waiting period and for suspicious applications, two third-party companies are engaged simultaneously so their findings can corroborate each other. The third-party agencies we currently work with are:
Zhongheng Insurance Loss Assessment Co., Ltd. — View details
Shenzhen Zhiyou Consulting Co., Ltd. — View details
Shanghai Shangbaotong Health Technology Co., Ltd. — View details
Willis (Shanghai) Business Consulting Co., Ltd. — View details
3. Public Disclosure with Oversight by All Members
We adhere to the public disclosure system. After review is passed, during the two-week disclosure period and the one-month fundraising period, the aid recipient's information, medical records, and investigation reports are all open to members, who can review them. A reporting reward is also offered to encourage oversight by all.
4. Witness Visiting Team System
We are exploring a “witness visiting team” system. Local members are organized to visit aid recipients, which both expresses the Commune's care and serves as members' witness. Team members volunteer and organize locally on their own initiative; they are not Commune staff. (Click here to see the witness teams organized so far.)
No single mechanism can solve the problem, but when several are combined, the chance of something going wrong at any one link is greatly reduced.
Through these combined measures, those running Anti-Cancer Commune can ensure every aid recipient is real. Anti-Cancer Commune aspires to become a “Century Commune,” knowing well that only integrity can achieve this. We welcome members' oversight.
