Why Our Review May Be Stricter Than an Insurance Company's
In the past there have been cases where an insurance company approved a claim but the Commune's investigation found problems and refused assistance, and cases where aid recipients, because of the strict investigation, received help yet felt no goodwill toward the Commune and even urged people not to join. Members have complained about this too. Let me explain.
1. The Commune has no review at the point of joining, so we can only strengthen review afterward. This is also a kind of balance.
2. The Commune differs from an insurance company: every act of assistance must be accounted for to all members, and oversight comes from every direction, so we need to be as airtight as possible. An insurance company, even if it takes a loss on claims, can absorb it internally without explaining to policyholders.
3. We strictly enforce the Commune's rules to ensure their authority—being responsible to all members and saving money for all members.
We would like review to be simple and yet trusted by members, but there is no way. If you have a better idea, please share it with us.
