Before Urging Members to Quit, Please Arrange Their Protection First
During the May Day holiday I received a phone call, almost pleading, on the verge of tears. The reason was that she had listened to an insurance friend and withdrawn from the Commune—and less than a month later, an accident happened...
Staff encounter this kind of thing often.
So we earnestly ask some people: KangAi Commune will not put obstacles in the way of members who want to quit. The original purpose of the Commune was to help people gain protection, and we regret that we failed to win your recognition. We can understand it if you quit or urge others to quit. But:
When persuading or mobilizing KangAi Commune members to quit, please first help them arrange a fallback for their protection—for example, make sure they have bought insurance and passed the waiting period, or joined another mutual aid platform and passed the observation period—and only then urge them to withdraw from KangAi Commune.
Otherwise you are not helping the member but harming them, and this will bring you bad consequences as well.
