Recently, regulators have summoned a number of mutual aid platforms for talks, demanding rectification or even closure. This shows that chaos in the industry has already surfaced.

What worries us most is that some organisations which amass money in the name of mutual aid will act as a black sheep and deal a fatal blow to the entire industry.

Since the Anti-Cancer Commune appeared in 2011, it has always grown cautiously. We know well the special nature of the financial business and hope to develop in a healthy and sustainable way.

It is fair to say we have done quite well. To this day our development has been very healthy: all members have invited one another spontaneously, and the vast majority have a good understanding of the model. Our members are real people.

At the same time, we insist on operating lawfully — we never compulsorily collect fees in advance, we never touch the money — and we have taken this to the extreme. Our transparency is almost exhaustive in every detail. We believe this is why the regulators recognise us.

Some say we develop slowly. That shows we are cautious and responsible. We would rather grow slowly, so that every step leads toward a Century Commune.

We are very healthy. That will not change!
