KangAi Commune Merely Awakens an Awareness—It Doesn't Actually Help Members by a Single Cent

KangAi Commune was created with the intention of helping people solve their protection problems, but as my understanding and reflection have deepened, I have come to feel that we cannot help anyone unless they have that awareness—and once they have it, they are helping themselves, not being helped by the Commune.

So we cannot help anyone; we can only awaken their awareness. That awareness may be an awareness of insurance and protection, or the awareness that helping others is helping oneself, or the awareness that we are in fact a community of shared destiny, or the awareness that united we are strong, and certainly an awareness of taking part in solving social problems, and so on.

As long as a glimmer of that awareness takes hold, KangAi Commune has succeeded. Even if someone discovers along the way that this is not the best approach and leaves—leaves after cursing us roundly—one cannot say we sowed no awareness at all in their mind. We have still succeeded.
